Steps

Your Instagram account must be a professional account (business or creator) linked to your Facebook Page.
On your phone open Instagram, Settings, Privacy, Messages, and turn on Allow access to messages under Connected tools.
In the menu open Instagram, Instagram account, and press Continue with Facebook.
Tick your Instagram account and press Connect selected.
Instagram DMs appear in the shared inbox with a pink badge.

Good to knowInstagram does not accept documents. Send photos, videos or a link instead.Hover a message and press the heart to react.
